i have fitted V6 brakes to my 1.4spi mk3 astra, and after getting my car back, have noticed just how bad the braking is (compared to the escort courtesy car)... the pedal travels almost all the way to the floor before i stop, and i'm pretty sure this shouldn't happen.

do i need to uprate the servo and master cylinder to cope with the V6 calipers?

should i get maybe cav V6 items? or astra Gsi?

any help please??

And you will need to bleed the whole system.

I run V6 calipers on my nova with a 1 ltr servo

You won't regret it if you upgrade to either a GTE/GSi or SRi servo to go with that mate.
It really makes a difference.

would i have to bleed the rear brakes aswell??

even though i haven't touched them?

they're not that new, i just only really noticed how bad the braking is because i've been driving the courtesy car.

did you do anything to your car Lee to get the V6 brakes working better?
