I replaced the timingbelt on my X16XEL yesterday and went for a ride afterwards. The engine ran just fine without issues. But the day after when heading for work, the engine would die If I let go of the throttle. So in neautral, I had to pump the throttle in order to keep the engine running. On my way home I thought I'd have to tear up the timingbelt again, but strangely it ran without issues all the way home. Even took it for a ride a couple of hours later today and everything seems good. No idle problems or anything.

I remember having similar issues a year ago. When it was hot, the engine would not run on idle without my foot on the throttle. Does anyone have a clue of what may cause this? Seems very unrealiable driving my poor Astra.

Sparkplugs, EGR valve and temperature sensor were replaced a year ago.
