Got pissed off with my old ones squeeking and smearing, so i replaced em.

This set has the air deflector thing on the drivers one

But i have noticed after they were on, that the wipers are much slower to wipe the screen???

My old ones were much faster, and i know theres nothing wrong with the front wiper motors.

So my only guess is they are heavier!?!?!

Any gen?

Nothing to do with the weight, would be tiny amount anyway. More likely due the the extra drag of the new blades. Give them a couple of weeks to bed in and they'll be OK.

The fact that you have bought spoiler blades will mean that they have a larger surface area and therefore more wind drag on them. Live with it. Within a few weeks you will get used to the new speed of them anyway.

I rate the Halfords blades myself, better than gen vaux ones.

Not sure whose blades Hellfords use, but the best ive ever tried are Champion.
