Can anyone tell me where the coolant temp sender is on a cav V6 ?

It's still missing and kanarooing for fun so im gonna change CTS, fuel filter and if that dont work the lambda sensors as well.

The CTS on the Vectra is in the bottom of the header tank, dunno about the cav,worth a look.

It on the side of the head I think, on the passenger side.

There are 2 though. You need the blue one.

A V6 owner will help more later I expect.

just disconnect the lambda sensor first, it should run on a backup map and run fine. then you can rule that out.

there is a sensor on the V6 header tank. I don't know what it is though, may be low level, but could be CTS. disconnect it, see what happens

There is a bridge between the two bank's, have a look there.

Same as on Vectras, as MC says.

It's the Blue connector on the coolant bridge.

On a Cav you'll need to remove the Alternator cooling fan.

On a Vectra you need to remove the top inlet plenum section.
