look in my posts of my astra thats got 17's and lowered 40mm. Dont go any lower than 40mm and make sure your shocks are up to the job,as they take allot of punishment when lowering cars.

Deffo the 60mm on the back.
It was good with the 40mm front and rear.
But with the 40 at the front a 60mm on the back it sticks to bends and roundabouts no problem.
Only problem is it's hard as fook on speed bumps and holes in the road.
The springs are that short the back end literally feels like there's no springs at all.
Depends what you want from it.
I love it that way for fun, plus i've got my mum's vectra for comfy driving if i go a distance.
Here's the difference between my rear 40mm spring and rear 60mm spring

I think so.
It's also helped the front as well.
It was too low at the front and catching speed bumps.
Now the front has lifted a little due to the back being lower.
Clears speed bumps no problem.

I've heard fitting springs from different cars is not a good idea.
I got my rear springs custom made

Well this is how low mine was with 40mm on front and back.
The garage floor is a little raised from the path where the car is.
I didnt have much trouble with speed bumps if i slowed down for them, whixh is the whole idea of them anyway.

Is that a pit I see in your garage? I envy you that! What a luxury! :)

My car was stunning.
The dreaded rust cancer has got to it :(
It makes me sad to see the state of the rear arches.
I've lost heart now to fixe the bodywork again.
It will be stripped and scrapped within 12 months i reckon.
Cheers for the comments.
Those Dare alloys have long gone now. Wish i'd have kept them on actually.
