!£"!£"$£^%^$$&()*%! or words to that effect! blew up one of my 6x9's, didn't have it turned up much either (half volume) and it went thump thump bzzzzzz. checked with the handy multimeter oops thats it dead so it's going to be buried at some point. thing is the system now sounds better since i disconnected the back shelf. bass from box and 6x9's must have been fighting each other. so i feel a plan coming on!!!

now i have though my plan through, it involves going back to a standard parcel shelf, fitting replacment rear speakers os the 5.25 ich coaxial type running of the head unit and using the spare amp to drive a longmill or caliber 10 inch for tighter puncher bass as the 12 is taking care of the deeper rumblier stuff. what you think peeps? good idea?
