Has anyone got a diagram of the afm?

I could do to know which pins are wired together so i can check them with a meter. Before i go and spend on a new one :( .

Is it a 4 pin one ?
If so, then it'll have a +12v and a ground as well as another ground, which is for the signal wire. Can't remember whats what at the mo' though.

I may well have one here (late type omega one with the oval connector)

£300 from Vauxhall!!!

Unfortunately I can't test it as I have the early type with rectangular connector.

Pin 1 is ground
Pin 3 looks like Positive supply (from ECU and injector common)
Pin 2 looks like another ground (ECU connection)
Pin 4 is another ECU connection

Part number BOSCH 0280 217 519

Had a fair few of these go down at MSD when I built the GSI's. Seemed strange on brand new cars but it happened a fair bit.

x25xe motronic diagram in the vectra haynes manual has
pin 3 as live
pin 1 as ground
pin 4 is to ecu pin 17
pin 2 goes to (amongst other things) ecu pin 71.

If you have tis, it'll tell you what pins 17 & 71 on the ecu do.
(I'm feeling lazy at the mo, & can't be bothered to dig my laptop out).
