has anybody got any info on jets and choke sizes i should use for these carbs.
also any advise on a good place to get them from aswell im also after filters (ive heard foam filters arnt good due to risk of fire ) link bar/s and banjos ect im penny pinching so somewhere cheep and mail order would b nice any recomendations ?

Demon tweeks for the parts and local weber dealer thats the besty i can do. i'll revise my earlier answer the 48's aren't too big if your going to go for a wilder engine spec at a later date

They do mail order and you shouldn't be as spanked as you would at DT's.

I ran 48 dellortos on my 20XE. They're fine - and you 'll never have to worry about not getting enough fuel in there! lmao

48's are not the best choice as you want to ideally use 36mm chokes. BTW don't listen to weber as their guidance is bollocks.

I'm running

36mm chokes
F16 Emulsions
150 Mains

This matches guidance from SBD/QED.

thanks for that info fortunatly some of the jets already match what came with the carbs
i have 36mm chokes
175 mains
f16 eml tubes
60 f8 idle jets

so i have saved a few quid there

do u think the engine will run with this set up? long enough to get it to a rolling road?
