| hello.
i may b wrong in saying this, but with regards 2 the monthly meets, the meeting place may b abit out of the way 4 sum.
iirc sum peeps r from south wilts, etc therefore it may b abit of a trek.
then again sum mite not even realise there are meets!!!
try and get em 2 come 2 ccc day and mingle!
i wont b attending billing this year btw.
just a suggestion.

| wiltshire isnt actually in the western region, its just the meets in gloucester are closer to us up this end of north wiltshire. The south central meet (which technically we're in) is a good 2 hours drive away

| Pete-the good thing about that pub is that its easy to find and easy to get to. I wouldn't say its out the way. I'm sure Phil and rob would look into some where else if they thought it would generate more interest, but you only have to look at this thread to see how many ppl actually bother. Hell half the ppl that turn up for the meets are from outside the region.

| Yeah, I'm not actually in the Western region but its closest to Wales for me. I've missed the last couple because I've been busy and also cos hardly anyone seems to go it doesn't seem worth it. I know if everyone says this then it will die out. I will try to make some especially now its the summer, the first meeting I came to was the biggest and best I've been to. Was much further north but can't remember where. Maybe a local autosprto event to go to, I remember last year when I came to a meeting I passed somewhere on the M4 that had autograss racing, that woud be a good sunday afternoon. Or are there any hillclimbs?

| ive never turned up to any meets, never seen any of u. One of these reasons being that i have no car! well, no engine. If everything goes according to plan i might have a cav gsi2000 in the oncoming monthes and the calibre, well.......................... we se what i wanna do with it.

Are you in the Western Region? | Informed what by post, I've had nothing bar my membership reminder, though technically I don't live in the region.

| I don't think you got an invite because you don't live in the region
It was a trial to see if it would encourage more people to come (non internet users I assume)
So did any member in the region get an invite then ? |
