as above really, as I've said I'm not going to be able to make most of them due to family commitments but lets see what interest there is.

well any where really,, as long as if people are willing to travel down uop and across!!!!!!! i also have family commitments, too kids and the mrs works most sundays but i will try to attend any meets!
astra sport brocade yellow boot lid wanted.....
well, ive travelled as far as newcastle under lyme last weekend for a meet which was rained off in the end.
i have my family aswell, but my wife normally comes with me and the best thing is a family meet at somewhere with a wacky warehouse or something where we can bring the kids.
If someone has ample space at their property then a fix it day would be ideal as some dont like one aspect of a car such as engine or electrics.
one thing i have noticed is people with the same car do like to group themselves off, even i have done. so if poeple came out and realised theres more than one model vx at a meet it would give them ideas when they want to change their car.
as i put in my thread, im at a family meet tomorrow and if anyone is evesham way and sees us let us know.
Replied to watch.
I'm louder than gods own revolver and twice as shiney.
Telford.
No wait... um.... The Darlston at Stone is quite popular for most WM people and I dont mind the drive
Alternatively Harvey runs a monthly meet at Alfreton on the A38
now i know i may be being picky but all those places are 30+ miles for me
why not try actually in birmingham?
That might be alright for some but not others.
Not being funny but Stone is probably 30+ from me but I've been there half a dozen times because it's a good location for members from Stoke/Stafford
There's nothing wrong with a road trip if it makes life easier for others
Gaz where's Bean on this?
I'm louder than gods own revolver and twice as shiney.
dont get me wrong, i did over a hundred miles round trip last weekend for a meet, its just that it would be nice to have one close once in a while, like do telford, stoke, birmingham, maybe bromsgrove, kiddy.
basically vary the locations
The region is HUGE I totally understand what Rob is saying about distance as the Maypole is pretty out of the way, the M6 is the saving grace for us further south in the region and I don't mind hopping on it and travelling.
Ben - hows it looking for next weekend?
Benn - haven't heard from Bean
Gaz - Yes. 100%
what about one and two halfs just off jt2 M5 good food big car park and friendly.
so let me get this right, most of you are top end of birmingham, stoke and that sort of way?
can you imagine how we are on vvoc the west mids goes down as far as gloucester and as far up as newcastke under lyme!
I'm Sutton coldfield, I border east midlands literally, regardless of where the meets are arranged I'm travelling a good amount, also j2 M5 is a bit far for the litchfield staffs and telford lads I mean it's gonna be nearly an hour drive.
Red is people who have listed their location, blue is where the regulars hold their meets

looking at that it looks like burntwood is most central, but what is there to do there?
thats actually quite small this is our west mids region and its members
vvoc members locations - Google Maps
I reckon if you actually worked that out with maths then Cannock would be the fairest place for a meet
It's worth noting though that Harvey's east midlands meet already has a good turnout if we could sort a combined meet.
what about the OK american dinner on A5 in Cannock it,s more central. easy to get to off M6 . just a thought.
The problem with Cannock is its chav central, if they see some decent tastefully modded vauxhalls rock up at OK Diner, you'd have 2 dozen ripspeed fiestas and the like up from the MaccyD's down the road in no time being retards
If I like it, I lick it. If I dont, I kick it
CAN NO LONGER GET TYRES, SORRY
That's Lichfield actually, Burntwood is about where the 'n' in Burntwood is. Some nice pubs in Lichfield and some nice restaurants too. Some Beetle clubs have meets at a pub just round the corner from me and it's quite ideally suited; big car park, good food, pretty cheap.
Very expensive so I hear, and as said, Cannock is chav-central. Wouldn't be aversed to trying it out, personally.
Just bear in mind, that this was the last time we tried a meet a bit further south: Meet May 30th 2010
lmao
Teeth? LUXURY! When I was a child we ate by putting rocks in our mouth and jumping up and down.
