The meets in the past that have been aranged further south have generally been a road trip for all the stafford lads and no of the members that requested a closer meet turning up. Personally i have no problem with traveling to meets. I myself am further south than anyone that is posting here. The meets in Stone are useually pretty good for turn out. The car park is big enough for us and the food is good (Its also a 2 for 1) And its got the wackey warehouse that someone mentioned earlier.
If all the new members want to come to a meet i think they should travel up to our useual location and once shown that they will turn up we can altrenate the locations to suit everyone.
Just my 2 pence worth.

Last time we had a meet further south it was me,stumpy and jack who turned up after everyone had said they were coming. As said I've got no problem traveling but getting a bit fed up of everyone moaning that its to far north then not bothering turning up when we arrange one further south, then a month down the line everyone wants it down south again.
I think this was the one I couldn't get to, I honestly expected to have a good turnout even though I was stranded without a car, felt like a right **** when absolutely no-one turned up, I agree with Bean on this one, we should do a few Stone meets and take it from there to see if we actually need to find a second location.
TBH Cannock is pretty much empty and not very car friendly.
Yeah I think its fair to alternate round but only if people turn, so if we have it in a certain area and no one bothers then we don't have it there again for at least 6 months.
completely agree, i was your way a couple of weekends ago for a meet.
best bet is get some nice locations/ideas running around and see what people think
don,t mind travel. as just want to meat up and see some nice car and bounce ideas about.

Okay what about tardebigge pub between redditch and bromsgrove good food big car park and easy to get to off M5 or M42. Out of way aswell so now boy races and is a friendly place

lol, you all want a reguler mig wm meet, but you all also want it near enough on your doorstep, how is that fair on everyone else? yes the west midlands is a big region, but there are bigger, like yorkshire
instead of suggesting an area to which nobody can get to, how about suggesting actual places to meet and alternate them every month?
for example...
one month go to the hare and hounds in minworth birmingham, it has a wacky for the kids, a reasonable size car park, never full, and you can reserve and area/tables for have a meal, without having to wait for a table...
then the following month, go to something similar in the cannock area, then the reditch area, etc!
