LOL -can`t believe the old meet location debate is still going on!

Steve! - I haven`t been on here for a while down to personal reasons, hence why I stood down as co-ord, but I AM still a member! Why do you insist on having a meet move closer to you, so you can meet with a bunch of people who you can`t seem to get on with?

Bean - I`d love to bob along and say hello, have seen ya for ages!

Right, so what you`r actually disputing is the regional borders of MIG, West mids is defined on here as Shropshire, Staffordshire and Derbyshire, I realise that is not the way west mids is commonly refered to as, but the lines have to be drawn somewhere, if you look at any counties map, Stafford / Cannock is pritty much bang in the middle of a region spanning from Telford all the way up to cheterfield.

It is unfortunate that the line for region changes runs through the middle of what you define as the west mids, but there is the Central and western regions that are both also very close? Still can`t help but feel its a mute point becasue regardless of where meets were located, the trun out was still the same people. In the past we have met everywhere from Wolvo to Nottingham. I`m damn sure that Bean and Gaz will do a fine job of sorting out the meets for this year, in which ever way is best to get the most attendance. The people that really wanna go will make the journey anyway.

Anyways, sorry about that, looking forward to the meet, it`s been a while since we`ve been able to make one.

Might just come along to this.... Seeing as you all think it's one big joke!! So far no PAYING members on the list live anywhere near the meet location.

    Re: West mids Jan meet

Darly is about an hours drive from me, but I don't care because it's to meet people I enjoy being with who all live close to that point. I'm not self-centred, so I won't ask for it to be held in Nottingham so you all have to drive 1hr+

I'll be there, but if a certain somebody irritates me I'll probably leave to save an argument spoiling the meet

    Re: West mids Jan meet

    This thread is really funny:

When I was blue, Tom/Mike said I could go to one official meet only! Which I did, so therefore I had to become red to attend others.

Yet.... I see many more blue members above coming to said official meet. Why is that?

I went red so I could come to meets, yet.... it seems like you don't have to?? I think I am due a refund at this rate.

    Re: West mids Jan meet

I don't know if you've realised steve but Tom/Mike aren't really playing an active part lately and we're having more sign ups under the new order, it's all about pushing the club forward and doing what's best for the "club" and if that mean letting anyone come then so be it.

we all saw that pure revenue generating management didn't work so what's wrong with the way it is now?

PS: Nemesis - double FAIL for missing my junction!
