theres a great pub off J2 M42 (hopwood) going redditch bound, called the portway, you will have to come back on yourself at the next junction, but it has a pool table, good grub, loads of parkng, and ofcourse great beer!

Being an RC isn't for my benefit, it's for the benefit of the West Midlands members. Makes no difference to me either way tbf, but it would make a huge difference to the region...
as far as I'm concerned birmingham isn't exactly a dump, we have EVERYTHING here, scrapyards are ten a penny each charging less than the next, the urban landscape is truley awesome and perfect for togging sessions, we have birmingham wheels kart racing there are literally thousands of venues for eating out hundreds of quiet industrial estates and not to mention it's in the middle of England with access to plane train and coach all in the same city.
how you can say i's **** and that the snooty bassetts pole pub is a better location is beyond me, the guy puts on epic buffets for bikers who get totted up and drive like total pricks actually killing people, then rings the police when more than 3 "nice" cars turn up after letting them line his pockets first.

bassetts pole is already used by EVERYONE - bikers, dub owners, reguler cruisers and fiesta oc
we can easily make a sunday afternoon decent, some grub and a pint in some nice pub, then off to a perfect back drop for a photoshoot, sorted!

just to update on why I've been so quite on the whole RC front too (as I can see it's being hinted) I'm currently moving house, and at the mo everything is up in the air and on hold with my corsa until I'm properly sorted.
