| March Meet - Something a bit different... Righty then guys, bit of plan forming for March`s meet. Date can be either the 23rd / 30th, Maz may have to decide this, this`ll make sense in a second.
The idea was to meet at the Darly around 12 O Clock for food, bit closer for peeps that wanted to come last time. Then after we`ve had a quick munch, we`ll take a quick drive down to Penkridge, about 20mins MAX. There we shall be assiting Maz in an attempt to get the Mythical red Nova several steps closer to the road!
There`s plenty to be done, including suspension, interior, engine mounts and copius amounts of wiring. Bring your tool kit and bring any random nuts and bolts in your collection! Or just show up take some pictures and revel in the fact that you have witnessed the exsistance of a Legend in its own lifetime.
Let me know what ya think and if your up for it!!!

| I should be able to make it. Whats needs doing with the suspension? Will we need spring compressors.
Only thing is if too many show could be a bit of a nightmare, too many cooks and all that. |

Righty guys the final plan is meeting on the 30th. Meet at the spread eagle at 12 and head up to the Nova. Most peeps didn`t want food at the pub and opted for takeaway so thats the plan. Arrive at Nova get started and find a takeaway thats open! (Maybe pizza hut)
Few peeps where talking about possibly crashing around Maz`s the night before and starting early, this is fine, I`ll let you sort that out amongst yourselves, contact Maz directly or PM for more info etc...
Bring some tools and a random selection of bolts / jubilee`s if you have em! |

| Few pics of where its upto now:
And a few nuggets of info off Maz:
I've also got a complete Astra GTE loom to swop with the current one as its pritty much 'plug n play' with that one.
Cage can't go in yet either as its for a non-sunroof car and need 1-2" cutting off the legs.
The engine is just loosely hold in place, as you can see in the top pic, the O/S needs raising.
I have got a select of XE Nova Samco's so we should have most the pipe work.
It wasn't mounted properly as iirc we couldn't get the O/S mount high enough, hence why its on the piss! And i don't think we had got the correct bolts.
I've got a selection of manifolds and systems, i'm sure we could throw one one there as a temp (i'm going to get a complete powerflow system made anyways eventually)
I'm not going to bother painting anything else under the bay as after 2-3 weeks it will only be covered in crap anyway.. |

I'll be there. I'll see if I can find those bags of stuff. We had a load of M6, M8 and M10 bolts left over from when we built my land rover.
From looking about, all the big bits are there, it just needs putting together!
