Smile Newb Introduction

Hi folks,

How goes it ? I thought I'd introduce myself as I've been lurking around here for a bit so figured best get involved

Im 26 and have taken on my brothers Mk2 Nova 1.4 SR as a project to finish. He's done a lot of work but it's still essentially in bits with the big problem being the wiring (It's a damned mess) so I shall be hunting around for all sorts of advice no doubt !

As it stands it's a 1.4 with Kent cam, Twin Webber 40's, 2.0 GTE disc conversion, Spax (I think) shocks all round and a relativly immaculate shell with I believe no rust at all.

I'll be looking to turn it into a bit of a track day toy me thinks

Looks like I'm going to be busy this year, I have a Honda NSR which I have just finished rebuilding and Mk2 MR2 in need of some love

Pictures to follow hopefully.

Cheers guys,

Heya chap,

Birmingham way matey. And yourself ?

I'll take a look at that site for sure. Also, I shall at some point be creating a project diary, so at least I can keep some sort of track of what progress I'm making with the car

Cheers,

Ah we got plenty from Birmingham area on here and Westmids We do a few meets as well if you're interested.

The projects section is a good read and I'm sure your car will go down well seeing as the Nova is the most popular car on the site

How do

I've always fancied going to Castle Combe just never got round to going. Might take the Nova down there for a blast if all goes well for a bit of a shake down

Hope to see you folks soon. Take it easy.
