Cars in the park - 30th June/1st July

Just thought I'd draw some attention to what is quickly becoming a Lichfield tradition.

Last year there were some incredible cars there, from Scimitars and old Land Rovers, Jags and Ferraris and all sorts!

It's in Beacon Park in Lichfield. I know me and my dad will be going, because it's literally 30 seconds walk from our house.

Very very very wet today. Hardly any cars at all.

I think we had 800 last year, and we were expecting 1000 this year. Seriously dissapointing, I'd guess there's maybe 30 cars in total. Hopefully tomorrow will be a nicer day, and a few more motors will turn up.

Saw some girls I knew, and got a few photos, but it really wasn't worth hanging around.

Nothing stops the land rover boys!

All the cars were like that. The park is a complete puddle, to be honest.

I was so disappointed. My mate came up from Leicester especially!

Some more photos in a proper thread in car talk.

Was worth going in the end, the weather held out. Was still a bit muddy, but enough to see to make it worth going.
