That will be fine for all the jobs on a car and more, but make the investment of buying a proper regulator and get a big bottle of gas from BOC, the little ones are a rip-off.

is a 130 amp welder for 180 quid...

buy an electric facemask - keep looking around for speacial deals - cromwell tools (dot com?) were doing them at 20 quid lateley - well worth it.

my local motor factors do a pub co2 bottle regulator and adaprtor for 30 quid - saves loads.

its not the max power (!) rating thats important - its the stability at 1/3 volume for car stuff.

turbo versions just have a fan - if they do a non - turbo version, get this and bolt in a 240v fan
Running a 30 quid carlton taxi to Italy and back for a laugh... and charity..

So you only bought one? Are they the same ones that sell for £100 a time, thats some discount if it is, on average tool price margins the must have made about a 60 quid loss on every one they sold.

I have the non turbo version of that welder, and has done a good job.

Definately loose the little bottles, they are expensive.

and the hand held shield you get with the welder is a pain in the arse when you are a novice. Get head mounted one.

ps. watch out for arc eye.... ouch !!!!
I need a garage for some serious mini butchery !!!
