Hi, Whats the best way to prep panels for paint, trying to save money on my project, so was thinking of doin the prep work to the inside of my car. What products should i use and how long should i spend doing the prep work??

If theres no damage and it's just to key them up i'd use red scotchbrite and make sure it's nice and matte before painting. Then use a pnel wipe to get rid of any greae, silicone, contaminants etc.
red scotch bright will be too coarse if you are spraying with a base coat then clear coat as it wnt cover the scracthes from it grey would be best, if painting plastic you would need a 1k plastic primer which would need spraing on b4 you paint.
I always use red scotch, what we always used at the bodyshop too.
I'm louder than gods own revolver and twice as shiney.
id personaly use the grey for base coat and clear coat as will cover they grey scotch marks easier but down to every1s personal preference im just a fussy bugger.
im with woody, i never use red, bc doesnt cover the scratches properly, there not really noticable once laquered but its not worth the risk.
