I added the LED Lights, with the extensive driving I do in Europe. I don't think cop cars come in this format. The amount of times I have been stopped just for curiosity, while the cops salivate (posh word I read somewhere) with envy. I even got pulled over when I overtook a Cop Car doing 53 on the motorway, only to be accused of speeding.

Accepted the ticket, keeping quiet he was been videoed. When I downloaded the clip to the speed enforcement centre, showing me overtaking the speed cop at 64 and increasing to 71. Not long afterwards received a letter confirming no further action ... no apology nowt ... the cop who made the statement that my speed reached 90+ has some exlaining to do. .... Makes you wonder what would of happened if I did not have a survelliance Camera fitted to my vehicle

Because of the vandalism etc, best thing I have purchased was the latest Road Hawk Video Camera ....

similar thing happened to my corsa a few yeasr back, between the hours of 8am and 11 am strangely enough the buisiest time of the day where i live, jealous pathetic people trying to ruin someone elses pride and joy. best of luck sorting it out buddy, it wont be easy.

I can't believe someone has done that for no reason. I recently had my car keyed outside my bosses for no reason, i can't believe some people are just so stupid and don't realise how much stuff like this costs to repair

Gutted to see that... I remember having my MK4 cabrio being keyed, ok not worth much as a car. But it was mine, I'd put a gsi bumper and irmscher bits on it. looked the nuts. I remember trying to hunt the guy down but to no avail

Try a body shop called Rod & Custom, in Birtley Near Chester-Le-Street. They're moving their workshop about but sould be good to go in the new year. Very reasonable rates too.

what is your location mate as people may have a good painter local to them which may be miles away from you. there is a local guy to me who does all custom air brushing ect but like i said i may be miles away from you. im near birmingham by the way

It does not look as if your street is one of the typical neds hangouts.

It's bad enough to on a sheer moment of madness to draw your key down the side of a random car, but these people have gone out with industrial paint stipper to cause damage. Is there any obvious reason you think they have come up to your street and your car?

They have also made an effort to catch more that one panel. Not just a splash and dash.

I'm trying to understand why you need recording equipment around both your house and in your car. Do you expect trouble coming your way?

I was born in the village where I live, never had problems until one individual moved next door to me. For three years life became a living hell. In total over 50 incidents and was never arrested once ... same old excuses from the coppers ... not enough evidence ... so my home became a CCTV fortress so to speak... but unfortunately on the three occasions the car was vandalised ... could not identify because of the clothing he/she was wearing ie hoodie etc .. Even storm cap with goggles on one occasion ... The damage this time is quite extensive ... plan in the New Year and get it sorted... already have a lockup for my car ... the sad fact ... never met this guy in my life before ... when he initially moved next door he tried to bully my son .. who would have none of it and gave him a good hiding ... but that just made matters worse ... although could never catch him vandalising my property ... So it was a godsend when his home was re-possessed and he was kicked out ... Trouble is around my area if you work hard for your money which pays for nice holidays and flash cars ... then you get the sick element of society who are racked with jealously.. Anyway what comes around goes around I am a strong believer in this ... I have offered a sizeable reward... And hopefully sooner rather than later ... whoever has done this will brag about it to one of his mates ... and I am hoping there are no friends among the criminal fraternity when it comes to money ... hopefully
