    welding TX Autosports pipe, alloy

    I have some of tx auto sports alloy 2.5 boost pipe has any body tried to alloy weld this pipe if so how did you get on ? did it weld ok or is it just cheap alloy ?
    When not on axle stands, I'm on boost......

    i thought tx boost pipe was stainless?

    well i've cut them with grinder & no sparks so i think there alloy ? got me thinking now !

    if they are alloy they will be cheap grade metal, i've welded simular and for best results try and keep the amps down when welding with tig as they don't like the heat much tbh
    Custom C20LET/Z20LET Inlet manifolds from £250, XE/LET baffle sumps £50, Re-flanges, EVO TD05 turbo conversions, aluminium & stainless steel TIG welding, pm for requirements

    ok dewis thanks, im trying to loose the silicone bends on my nova intercooler & weld alloy tubes so its a nice flow as the silicone bends kink a little,

    they weld fine mate, clean them up first as they could be laqured
