    new to welding metal thickness question

    hello im new to welding and just brought a clarke en 90

    i know its not the best welder in the world but i purley want it to muck around with and learn to weld

    few questions is what thickness metal should be used when welding panels , eg body panels , and then chassis panels

    as i want to know what my welder is capable of

    also is 100amps enough to weld seat frames etc ?

    0.8 for body panels and 2mm for chassis will be fine for seat rails just prep the area well i.e not paint, oil or dirt
