It depends on the painter and the paint scheme.

I normally paint between 2.0 2.5 psi, but thats in a spraybooth. If your painting in a dusty enviroment i would recommend turning it down a tad to get less crap in your paint work unless you like polishing lol

You sure that's not bar?

I haven't seen my pressure gaugue in around 3 years, it's under about 50 layers of paint, I know It's not a healthy compressor or a high pressure but I can still get good results.

Around 2 bar fella at a push 2.2" no more as you are aware its a hvlp spray gun your using
