    painters - Prepping transit primer?

Whats the best way to prep that black primer panels come in so I can apply a non laquered 2k solid colour topcoat?

    Thanks

Do I need to take it all off, or just key it?

Would you use acid etch on it?

Is rattle can upol acid etch compatible with 2k primer and topcoat?

    Cheers

u only have to key it but the smoother u get it the easier it will be for a smoother finish ( i.e no orange peel )
it depends how good or bad the cathodic primer is in the first place
u only need etch on bare metal and its compatible with all 2k systems , u only need a dust coat as to speak and where a mask its evil stuff
