vauxhall vectra rust spots

hi all

I got some small rust spots coming through on my vetra and they are starting to bugg me!

they are smaller than the size of a 5 pence peace

1 on the roof
1 on the boot lid
driver & passenger door
front wing.

and the rear aches are started to show some signs of rust.

can i rub them down rust treat them prime up and patch spray ??

or will the whole panel need spraying ??

its a sliver gsi and it a shame to let it go down hill!

yes you can rub them down and treat them, then prime and paint but silver is a bitch to match/blend so might be worth getting the painting done professionally
