i know of carrick engineering in prestwick but dont know if they are good or not so if anyone knows anywhere and pictures/price of there work would be much appreciated.
few month back my work van roofrack got powdercoated by a company in glasgow when i went to pick it up i saw wheels on display of there work and i couldnt beleive how bad a job they had done and worse part is that they are there demos

I just got a set of wheels done by a guy in Kilbirnie he is next door to Greersport.
Did a pretty good job and removed/refitted the tyres himself, he was cheapest too at 35 per wheel.
my only comment was the powder colour was a little duller than the factory colour but its still far better than an old corroding wheel lol.
I also phoned a company in kilmarnock they were the most expensive at 180 i think for the set of 4
Carrick have done some years ago for me which were good but the same problem with being a little duller i think he quoted me 170 for 4
I used a guy in Renfrew once Chamelion who did a good job of a rocker cover but for wheels he quoted over 200
Only one left that I didnt call was P&J in Thornliebank in Glasgow he used to do a set for 100 but they were never the best job.
hows that for a list lol I was checking them all out just 2 weeks ago
superb mate that p and j were the ones i was talking about all there wheels had runs on them as though they use to much powder. yhink il check the kilbirnie one out. i dont mind paying the 170-200 as long as they do the moneys worth
