How much paint to cover my golf?

I'm spraying my Golf Satin black this weekend for the giggles, roughly, how much paint should I be buying? I'm just going to be using spray cans and I CBA to do the door checks/underbonnet.

Is 12x 400ml likely to be enough?

I've got bored of the VAG world (after 5 days ). It's a mid blue 5 door at the moment.

5 days,thats like a lifetime for you lol,get it rallied and killed,don`t waste money on paint,rally scars and mud will suffice.

Buy 5ltrs of land rover chassis satin black at about 40quid and some of those little decorating sponge rollers and get cracking lmao
