    taking the gunk off the chassis off my car?

    currently restoring my mk3 astra the now, floors clean and not needing any welds or anything. Gonna re-seal it tho as its not been waxoil'd or nothing, any sprays or methods to taking all the gunk off tho? dont want to take the original underseal off as i've heard a couple horror stories with rott following afterwards, just want all the dirt and stuff thats built up over the years? any help appreciated

    Could just use a small wire brush and rub as soft as you like . You will get all the crap off .
    I canny invest in ya and for that reason , I'm oot .

    I used one of those brushes you use for getting crap out from under your fingernails. Like a plastic knuckleduster with nylon bristles. Worked great at getting dry mud off. Anything stained onto the floor I used a bit of t-cut on a rag and it soon came off

    You want to be undersealing in late July, not January.

    soundo, ill give both a shout. the cars been off the road for months now, and wont be no the road untill around then anyway.
