    Painting arches with aerosols

I'm looking to be tidying up some rusty scabs on my car soon, most bits seem straight forward; IE the lower part of the wing, front valance, where it's small enough that I can just do the whole section of the panel. I've got a bit of a rusty arch though, it's only surface rust at the moment. What's the best way to attack it?
In my head masking it off will leave 'the' line, should I mask off the arch and blend the witness line in with some fine wet and dry? Or am I best to try and blend it?
I don't exactly want to be doing a whole quarter panel with a spray tin, that's just got fail all over it lmao

You can have a go at soft masking the start of the arch, which is folding over say 2mm of the tape going it a lil flap that will let the paint flick under it, letting it softly go out.

Then you'll need to lightly polish over it. Can hide it quite well, depending on colour.

Polishing the paint over the blend area first will help lose the blend, (keying it after)

Best way to start? Get sanding, bear metal the rust then rust kill and start priming.
I'm louder than gods own revolver and twice as shiney.
