2k paint for my corsa gsi

hello. bought some 2k flame red paint for my corsa gsi. bought only 1 litre. just wondering if anybody knows how much thinners and hardner in as it dont say anything on the tin

3 parts paint to 1 part hardener and it should be around 1 part thinners but just thin to desired amount, i usually only add about half the amount of thinners that i did hardener

so on the mixing stick do i take the hardner to the 10% mark then thinners to the 20% mark?

all my mixing sticks have numbers not percentages

easiest way to do it is pour paint into a mixing pot, then add a third hardener and then thin to how you feel is adequite

i would of thought you'd need it a bit thicker than water, its hard to put into words how thick/thin you need it

it normally 3 paint 1 part hardner thinners is optional at 5 / 10% or ols school 2 parts paint 1 part hardener again thinners is the same optional to painters preference or u could use a viscosity cup , to be honest it gets weighed now on scales so its all done by weights now , what make of paint is it ,?/ have u tried asking the people u got it from for a data sheet ??? that would tell u everything hope that helps

in all fairness i have never heard of a data sheet. what does this tell u?

the mixing ratios for one ,hardeners and dryin times , paint thickness , spray pressures, gun setups , vicosity ,and a few more things iirc and of course the dreaded health and safety lol ,,, if u ask where u got it from they should have one or they could copy it , might be able to google it to be honest

you dont need to use any hardener with 2pack paint m8 and as every one else said painters thin it out to how they want it u can thin 2ltr,s ov paint out to 4 ltrs or 1tr ov paint to 2 use a mixing cup 20% thinners i use in my devilbiss gti pro base gun at work it flows out nice u dont want it like piss tbh lol

with a solid which flame red is you do need to use a hardener, paint won't go off and cure without it

you have just described how to thin out base coat not solid 2 pack
