    Liquid polyurethane supplier?

I am trying to find a place in the uk that sell's a 2 part liquid poly urethane.

I have searched on the web and only places that come up with it in the grade i need is in the usa, if i have to ill get it from there but surely somewhere must sell it in the uk! i hope so as i cant afford to wait for us shipping times.

Need it in Hardness shore A80

or anywhere that even may do it ...

Engine mounts ey.... You want "3M window weld" Thats what i use.

A simple google search will make your mind up. All the drifting boys swear by it.

Its sometimes hard to find in single tubes (most are boxes of 10) but keep looking, Cant remember where i got mine from?

    Re: Liquid polyurethane supplier?

i used stikaflex on the mounts in my nova let and its worked a treat, there rock solid and it made a huge differance to the way the car drove. done it about a year ago and its all still in there and workin a treat. im gonna do it on my astra let when i fit my f28 aswell. i got mine from a bodyshop supplier called ponswood paints, or try a panel supplier like hadrians, or britcon etc.

Thanks for your reply's lad's i have used both of these in the past and while they do improve it a lot it is still noway near as hard as would like. they were both around A60ish in strength and i need at least A80 i have found a supplier that sell's it so i will update this when i have recived it and let you both know how it work's in theory it should be mile's better. it is very similar to what they use for solid engine mounts for xe's ect...

Im only testing it first so ill get back to you on how it works once it arrives

If you want your engine not to move, solid mount it, i.e. without rubber.

Thanks for your reply brian. As you say you can certianly use solid mount's e.g. weld them up ect... but as it is to be driven on the road a fair bit it's not really the best option for this situation, tho if it was a single seater or hill climb car that is what i would be doing!

I have found the product i was after just waiting for it to arrive i will let you know if it is any good once i recive it and have it finished as for some people it should be ideal and worthwhile modification if they have no other alternative as it is not only engine mount's can be used for many different uses.

    regards mike

If you don't want to solid mount for whatever reason, Radio Spares do some pu compounds too. Shore 85 2-pack: Electrolube | Workshop Consumables | Adhesives, Sealants and Tapes | Potting Compounds | Potting Compounds: Electrolube |UR5097RP250G
