    Nitromors

Can Nitromors be used on bumpers or will the plastic bubble?

    Re: Nitromors

If you use Nitromors you will have to be very fast and careful and then rinse off with copious amounts of water.
You would need to do small areas at a time and start cleaning the paint off as it starts to react - normally the metal would stop it eating any further whereas it does not know it has to stop at the plastic.
If it eats into the plastic you will find yourself scraping that off as well. Not good.
Everytrace of Nitromors must be washed off as well or it will keep on working away.
Try a water based stripper if you're not sure.

I nitromorsed my bumpers and it was fine thou I did put it on then brushed off the paint as it comes away near enough straight away, then washed down with soap and a hose pipe then repated a few times until it had all come off, just make sure u wash it all off completley as its very good at melting/distorting plastic hence why I didn't leave it to soak in as it says on the tin
Just bring me Tea & Biscuits an a ciggarette............ nothing more....

I niromorsed a fiberglass bootlid the other week.

As mentioned above, As long as you move quick, do small areas at a time and rinse properly with hot soapy water you'l be fine.

Oh and dont use a metal scraper, Something more like a credit card is better

Be aware that if its the new formulation stuff that was forced in at the start of this year, it doesn't strip automotive factory finishes. The old stuff will though.
