Underbody tray - MOT fail or not?

Bit of a grey area this one but want to know before I make progress.

I'm slowly turning my Corsa into a track car and I want build a front to rear undertray. I noticed this done on a members nova in the project/restoration thread but couldnt remember who's car it was.

Basically the plan is to construct a flat surface under the car like the Lotus Elise to help air flow and run up from under the car with a rear diffuser.

The problem lies with how is this percieved by MOT testers. I know they like to poke and prod underneath to see if the chassis is of sound structure but if I fabricated the aforementioned undertray, would this automatically become an MOT failure as the chassis isnt viewable or accessible?

I have stripped and resealed the chassis legs and floor and they are all solid but is my word good enough come MOT time?

Help and advice would be great please

its not an MOT fail mate, as we aint allowed to remove anything during a test, and if we cant see it, we cant fail it. its no fifferent to not being sble to see behine a plastic arch liner or side skirts etc.

    ^What he said^
You just might get an advisory of structural parts covered, or similar, but not an MOT fail unless it's insecure, or interfering with anything else.

Think it will be put down as an advisory.
