    Repainting Bumpers

Probably a stupid question, I know lacquer is important as the top coat on bodywork painting, but how important is it on the bumpers? I'm a way off really spending money on modding the bodywork so in the meantime I'm just painting the black bumpers back to a nice fresh black, as 'back to black' does **** all after a few days. I've been told lacquer isn't important for this, thoughts?

You only need clear/lacquer if you paint basecoat. Normal black probably won't be basecoat.

99' corsa b, That will be colour coded bumpers then, Wouldnt recommend my idea then of satin black. More of a bodyshop job.

It's Matt Black, thats all I know. This stuff

Also, They're not entirely colour coded, I mean to paint the black plastic bits of bumper trim not the body colored bits This is just cheap and temporary before I do a proper euro style.
