Where do I start lol.
I have a chassis kit and I understand u stitch weld the panels. I'm not a welder but I might give it a go after a bit of practice what I need to know is can I mig weld it if so what size welding wire do I use

8mm will be fine, make sure to get it down to bare metal for a strong weld and blast plenty on lad

Practice first on some similar thickness plates. When you can weld your practice bits then smash f*ck out of them with a hammer and not break them, then you're ready

0.8mm wire and as the guys say play about on scrap
wen i started welding i found it alot easier to spot it contineusly building them up yano and just keep each spot overlapping and the same size it luks gd and is reasonably

As said 0.8mm wire + matcjing 0.8mm tips and a new gas shroud while your there for how much they are, a decnt pub bottle of gas, practice, practice and then practice and away you go
