POR15 do an awesome range for tanks, even rusty ones can be brought back with their internal coating paint.

I take it this is for external use only, not that one can get to inside the tank unless use a specially adapted spray nozzle, but is there any way one can use something to stop or prevent rust forming inside my Manta's 23 years old tank and without it effecting the petrol disolving it? or is it time to replace it?

POR15 do an in tank paint that pours in, you swirl it around getting a good coat then pour out the excess.
