oh and can it be done with the engine still in or does it have to be out.

You'll have to have the engine out mate any good mobile welding service should be able to help you. look in the yellow pages.

i thought so just wondering. wa so they dont have to be car specific then just a normal welder im not sure wer the plates go u see

Mark Ellis would be a guy in your area that would be worth speaking to. He lives in Brynna and preps rally cars
so if he wouldn't do it he may know how will. Another one in the same would be RobJenko's father in law.
