    Cellulose paint reactions?

What causes a crinkled reaction, as soon as the base coat starts to flash?

I'm nearly out of paint, and have sanded it back loads of times, cleaned it with a little alcohol, waited for it to dry, and as soon as its starts flashing it starts to crinkle. Even if it is taken back to plastic, cleaned, then a little primer, the primer crinkles when it over laps the base. If i just base coat onto plastic, the edges crinkle!

I am going to go menthol in a minute!

the solvent is biting in and making it react. take it back to the plastic and put a few light dry coats of primer on. give it a little flat and start basing it up

I'd give it a coat of bar coat before putting any more paint on. If ever I've had any reactions in the past, bar coat has stopped it re-occurring.

I usually bar coat it, then primer it, so if there are any reactions, it shows up in the primer and not the expensive top coat!
