Impressive work dude, But! you kept the restrictive area.
The runners are very small at the flange to the head.

Did you port them out before welding?

Re: how 2 fabricate a performance intake manifold.

i have 3 such inlets knocking around the lock up...if i give you them
could you do me one at good mates rates?

    iam thinking technically here
the piece may have better over all flow gr8 for high end turbos as the cross section either side the TB inlet is greater than the sum of 2 branches with bigger cross section=better flow efficiency - but not sure if torque at low revs is compromised

if you get a dyno to prove would be good...let mass order commence lol

I think you'll have trouble with air to 1&4 as 2&3 will be trying to steal all the air as it comes in! You needed to taper them towards 1&4 to try and prevent this!

    Here's mine

there's the full inlet build in here

VauxSport - Vauxhall advice and chat forum :: View topic - dewismotorsport's Corsa b gsi LET

it's pretty much a straight bolt on uses standard rail (bar a 90 degree bend)and all other features

I'll making some for people, £200 for above design, or can make to any design you require! PM me on here or vauxsport.com

have you had a before and after run done on a dyno with this fitted by any chance? and how does it fit, its a tight squeeze in a corsa?

No I haven't as I'm still building my new engine up, that is my prototype, I've since made a slighty different one, which is in the sandblasters as we speak but will post up pics when I get it back, heres a before pic:

am waiting on one of my customer for the dyno run but using my maths it should definatly flow a lot more air, and with a lot less resistance over standard
fits on a Corsa as that's what I designed it for, you just have to move the header tank slightly

well i'd be looking to fit into a nova which has more bulkhead space anyway. very interested in the dyno run results!! easy enough to put the LET TPS on the 2.5 V6 TB?

the vectra V6 throttle bodie TPS sensor is the same as the LET's mate so direct swap

Yeah not a problem just PM me, I aim to make them in 2-3 weeks, postage is £12 first class with Royal Mail and you can normally pick up a vectra V6 throttle bodie off eBay for £20-£30 delivered or cheaper from scrappy, what else do you need to know about it? It's 64mm so larger than a LET and it uses the same TPS sensor as a LET

the throttle bodie in the picture is a modified one to 76mm/3"

where'd you get the modified larger TB from? if the dyno results prove conclusive i'll be interested in one of these aswell.

it's a standard size throttle bodie but with a 3" pipe welded onto it, is what I meant sorry
