has anyone ever made fibreglass brackets to hold sideskirts on a car (or bumpers)? Were they strong enough? How many layers of matting did you use?

I have a set of sideskirts i've somehow been pursuaded/forced into fitting to someone's tiggy tigra (the standard skirts came off on the motorway) but these aftermarket sideskirts I don't think i'm going to be able to glue all of it on with adhesive as their's too much of a gap in places so i'm probably going to need to make some kind of bracket.

I've fitted skirts to cars in the past but I've always made metal brackets and welded them on and done a proper job but I can't be bothered with all that messing around (i'm too old it's too windy and it's too cold outside). If fibreglass works I'll get one of those 15 quid packs and give that a go?

Anyone had good results with making brackets this way?
