    Painting wing mirrors

Hey all. Hope your all ok.
I think I’m going to buy some new wing mirrors, i already bought a pair a while ago from ebay, just bog standard replacement ones for mine and there ok but they look a bit ugly.
So I think I’m going to change them for some M3 style ones.
Below is a pic of the ones I want.

In the description it says they can be painted, but im wondering how do i go about doing this. I’m not going to pay someone else to do them, seems a total waste of money im sure its not hard.

So basically im just wondering, what do i need to do, will they need to be primed before painting?
Also how do i find out the exact colour of my car? I asume you can buy paint to match it for topping up body work. Its a grey/silverish b style corsa.

    Thanks for your suggestions.

    im assuming they are plastic?

*You will need to make sure they are clean free from dirt grit etc.
*Then prime with plastic primer a few coats.
    *Smooth the primer
*Then spray coats of your body colour and laquer if its metallic.

You shuld be able to find your colour code on the VIN plate under the bonnet. The code wil be somefing like 87L etc.

Go to you local paint shop and get a can or two. Painted my Plastic mirrors on my nova same method and the result is good
