welding new arches in to Mk3 astra?

My astra's got pretty bad rear arches so I was wondering if it would be worth getting new arches welded in. The car only cost me 260 pound with long MOT and the rest of the cars good so I thought maybe it would be worth doing?

I can get the panels myself and do all the smoothing and painting myself so how much roughly could it cost just to have 2 arches welded in?

    thanks

Not a lot. They're not hard to cut the old ones out and weld them in if you can get a mig welder. 100 quid?

or sel-imperial, or hadrien. I can't weld very well, and bodywork isn't my thing, i payed £1200 for old ones to be cut out, new ones welded in, all smoothed etc, and my bonnet vents smoothed, and a full respray. The major money was the paint cost. If its a solid colour its cheaper, mines metalic.
