welding on my car

its MOT time next week and the thing u pull up on the seat to move it back and forward on the runners has broken off

gonna slap some weld on it tomorrow at work

any thing i should do to the car before hand?

disconnect the battery or anything like that?

just gotta get 12months MOT on the shed so i can flog it

yes if your going to weld on you car you should disconect the battery as it could blow up if left connected
