    nova c20xe weld engine bay?

i know that this has been covered hundreds of times but i still am unsure. i have a J reg nova 1.2 in white that is in mint condition and has no rust what so ever and had only done 40.000 miles. Now do i need to seam weld the engine bay or is it going to be ok. i don't realy want to as the engine bay is so clean and don't want to spray it ,unless i have to then i will. lmao

    see most people say yes,
    might be best to,
then again i've had a friend that had a xe in his nova for a yr with no welding...
    and it was fine,
but you cant see the under side of bits so you never know...

My old one wasn't seam welded and was pulling itself apart at the seams literally but it was used f'ing hard everyday! To give you an idea it went on track, did 120MPH jumps off hump back bridges, snapped 2 driveshafts, snapped an engine mount, threw a rod through the block etc!

lmao Yeah, was on first name terms with the AA patrol man near enough! lmao

When I snapped the mount (front O/S) the engine creamed the underside of the bonnet so I always had a huge upward dint in it after that! lmao

I have kept the block as a reminder, got a few nice holes in it!
