welder interfering with neighbour

When one of our neighbours turns on a tap or flushes their loo my water stops lmao

Bit of a pain when you're in the shower but for a seperate water supply to the mains (we share them in batches of 4 or 5 in the street) the water board want many hundreds

Shared supplies sorted for free,

Water regs and all that,

Phone tell em to sort it

just been out side welding for most of the day , then a neighbour comes over .. (one of those neighbours that you know loves to complain).. said my welder is intefering with his lights ! , ok i know sometimes my house lights dim ... but over the street ! ??

no one else has complained ...

i would love to just tell him to go away etc .. but i need to be seen to do somthing , as he started on about its ilegal to interfer with other peoples mains supply etc... blah blah...

I am running my garage of a mains plug indoors 8) I will now put this onto a separate fuse on the main board ... will this help ??

also could the welder do with a service ? would that help ?

is there somthing i can plug the welder into before it goes into the mains to help ? (not generator :lol: )

Supplier has to maintain a minimum voltage,

Maybee their supply cables are to wimpy

Common problem with modern electric showers 12/13 Kw where voltage at the CU may be as low as 175v,

CTTC. THEIR SUPPLY TO YOUR HOUSE IS (probably) INADEQUATE

My welder makes the lights flicker on and off when I first use it, but once I get going it's fine. Never had any complaints from anyone though...
