Hi everyone, Im in the middle of building my XE Nova and a (ex) mate of mine has done a cracking job of stitch welding and strengthening the shell, however he didn't finish it and has now buggered off with his welder and I cant get intouch with him!!!
Basically all around the Bulkhead has been done, all around where the bottom arms are done and I think there are only two panels of the Hockley strengethening kit left to fit. There is also some typical Nova repair work to be done, mainly a fairly big hole behind the turret, and some other small areas. one of the chassis legs has been stitched but the lad who was dong it was going to knock up plates to cover them/smooth them over to help the strength and looks inside the bay!
Basically the car is going nowhere until I can get the shell welded and then I can get it to the body shop for a full shoot.
Im wanting the car on the road in July so theres a fairly large'ish window to get the welding finished off.
If you know any one or if you could do this kind of work for me please get in touch. PM me on here or email ctdevelopments@hotmail.com.
Im willing to pay for the work and as I dont have a welder here I would pay to rent one if necessary.
PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!!!
Chris
