Build up a few more layers of red and rub down. Dont rush it! It'll go manky. Then a couple of layers of laquer, good polish up once all hard and dry and jobs a good un

That'll do. Is it hard to the touch? let it go off for an hour atleast keep it in a warm place/airing cupboard? See what the finish is like, rub sown with wetn dry in water if need be, then give it some coats with laquer

Dont know! Really you should give the job a whole day to do right. No point in rushing something if its going to look naff. Wouldnt want my car given a repray in one day!

the laquer can lose it's shine sometimes when dun in the cold (cloud)! you usually can't fix it either when that happens like u can with orange peel!! if you get orange peel it's easy enough to flat back (wet sand) then compound and wax.

got any pics of the progress yet mate? I did this in my old car, i think i rushed it a bit(but was only doing a test) and it ended up looking a bit tacky, but im sure doing a few layers and taking your time like you have it will look mint!
