Painting cam cover and belt cover etc probs.

I have painted my cam cover and belt cover in flame red, give it the primer a few coats then a few good coats of red paint, then a few good coats of primer, but i left it to harden in the airing cupboard for a few days, then rapped it up in jumper to stop it getting damaged, but it has left the stitching pattern on the laquer. What can i use to give it a really hard surface.

    Thankyou
    Rob

aerosol laquer will take about a month to go hard if you laid it on thick.

Wrapped it in a jumper ffs
Leave it at room temperature and with a good airflow around it
    Or use high temp paint/hammerrite
