    Epigrip 2-pack epoxy primer

Thinking about getting a few litres of this to protect the prepped car till I can afford the paint I got picked out. Don't suppose anyone knows if it's reasonably weathproof? the car will be covered as well (most of it)
It's called "EPIGRIP H795" and its a 2-pack epoxy (I already have the equipment to spray 2pack) anti-corrosive primer for aluminium and other non-ferrous metal surfaces. That's all I can find out. I've got enoguh of this to give the car an easy 3 coats maybe 4

    surely non-ferous means "not steel"?

yeh non-ferrous means without iron, but steel has iron in. (Unless its stainless steel)

On the whole, epoxies do tend to give good weather resistance. Your best bet however, is to get some chromated acid etch. You will probably want to use another primer over the top of this (your epoxy?) if you are leaving it for a long time though.

I thought stainless steel still had iron in it?

Yep, loads. That is what makes it steel. Also has a load of chromium in usually to make it 'stainless'.

It shouldn't be, but I would imagine it would be OK. Especially if used over an etch primer. I don't remember coming across a 'non-ferous' primer before. Might be worth giving the suppliers/manufacturers a quick call to see what they say.
