| Re: Need help from the wales clan Just checked the diary and I'm free. Will tell the missus
I reckon on sampling Cardiff Bay for the night out, has a multitude of restaurants to choose from and a couple of nice bars. Is busy but not rammed like Cardiff is on a Saturday night. (I'm too old to be queing in to get in somewhere does nothing for the joints! )
As for accomodation I'd go for the Ibis in Cardiff, right near the shops if that's what the wife fancies, close to the Bay (either by train or taxi, train station is 5 minutes walk from hotel) and cheap.
Steer clear of the travel lodge on St Mary Street, loads of bars there so very noisy until 2-3 am.
There's a place in Caerphilly if you fancy that and Nat and I can take you round Caerphilly Castle (2nd largest in Europe) and do some sight seeing.
Up to you. |

| Re: Need help from the wales clan theres a travel lodge in cardiff bay and another place offering cheap rooms. the bay is all brand new almost, just had a huge amount of regeneration done with nice bars, shops, fresh water "lake" and a barage seperating it from the sea, really is nice! thats where id be staying and going chap if i was you.
would be good to meet up so i for one will def make an extra effort to make it!
edit, this is where id be booking! http://www.futureinns.co.uk/

We have the van to bung the engine in (shall do that on the friday) then the easy thing would be get to your gaff saturday and unload/load the engines...go off and book into hotel...get tarted up and then out to celebrate Rob getting a step closer to a dirty old man. |

You're having the block Jamie otherwise I'll be getting a beating from 'er indoors (please don't make me beg!)
At least if Rob's choosing the place to eat he can't moan about it |
