Need help from the wales clan - meeting up on june14th

Going to ring the travel lodge in ca-frilly tomorrow to see if we can book in, its a right nightmare, i have tried 20 odd hotels online and not on has a room...sigh.

un lucky chap, but saying that, the place next door to the travel lodge in carphilly does a nice meal (as andy had booked it for us for our chrimbo meal) so if you want, and can book in to stay there, we could go there for a meal, that way you and emma plus and andy and nat wont have far to go to get to bed after (as andy lives 2 mins from there) and could enjoy a few beers (not emma though!!!)

Right, just had a chat with andy as we are finding it hard to get a room, what we are planning to do is put the engine in the back of the 206 and drive down, when there we can try a few of the hotels to see if we can get a last min booking, if not we can drive back...its only 3 hours and we can stop off a few times if need be.

So we will see you all on Saturday.

We are going to try some of the hotels in the afternoon to see if we can get a late booking (if not we will drive home or book a travel lodge just out side wales) and yep we are staying for dinner.

we got home at 2.30am (did have a 30 min pit stop). Robs birthday bash was cool, shame the man himself got held up but in the end but it was good to see him again.

We shall sort out a meet again when south wales has some hotels with rooms and no big superstars are playing. lmaolmao

For 10/11am in the morning roads were quiet and sun was shining..

Did the mistake and went across the bridge £10.60 worth of funds going to the 'keep the English out of wales fund'

Some lovely green open areas on the way..

Satnav had a hissy fit and sent us down some right small lanes, few farmers and locals were a bit annoyed...opps.

Robs birthday meal...less rod..lmao..good old welsh grub...curry

Then back to andys were we met up with the birthday boy himself after he had a long day playing with large erections....gazebos that is.

All-in-all a very nice day and looking forward to a long weekend soon in wales...when Bruce Springsteen is not ruddy playing.

Anyway comments of the day were

"Vindaloo's not hot" and "that gives them a 3 pound tip" (It actually gave them a thirteen pound tip" (don't let accountants settle bills we're rubbish)

Thankfully nobody got a pic of my shorts.

We'll have to do the return trip before end of year
